Awesome car and has oddly had several owners. Given its low mileage and age, it would probably need a lot of things on it replaced if someone was going to actually drive it. I would imagine most of the seals and bushings are probably shot. Its a great candidate for a museum car though.

 

As much as I love that car and as pristine as it may look (*cough* garage queen *cough*), 250k sounds like a lot.

 

why so heavy? 1290Kg ==>2,840 lbs

 

A true time capsule. $245,000 for a race car with no race history? No provanance. I am not sure who would buy this car. Maybe a guy who likes a race car with no stone chips. If you were to track it, than you have nothing more than a low mile track car. The same holds true for the 924GTS he has for sale as well. Probably even more rare than the GT2. Myself, I would drive it on the street. F-it I'll take the ticket.

 

Pardon my lack of familiarity with race versions, but what is that contraption under the front "bonnet"?

thats why on the hood it is cut away so the refueler can just drop the tank into the nozzles and refuel without lifting the bonnet.
