understanding 997GT3 prodution info from PCNA...HELP!!!

I ordered and speced a new GT3 for the first group last spring. Then started the wait. So far so good. Then the dealership changes hands, the Gen. Mgr. comes and goes, the sales people come and go and nobody seems to be able to understand the PCNA car tracking system for little things like production dates ect. Does anyone out there know the codes in the PCNA system and how to extract INFO!!! I know about production delays from the internet but some people seem to still have a far better idea of whats going on.

Sounds like a load of BS. They can look up exact allocation and production slots and est completion dates as easy as you can check your email

if u're the first group ur car should be in production late Oct or in Nov. when u ordered the car ur sales guy should've given u a 7 digi order refenence number. once the car is produced that number will transfer to the actual VIN. the reference number goes into system with ur name, address & contact info, regardless ur sales person is dead or alive.

GT-3 allocation

Your dealer should have notified you of his allocation and build dates. I have ordered a GT-3 for December build. He should have given you a print out of your actual order which would give you a "order reference number" that he can track the order with. There is also a "order status" code which tells him exactly what is happening with the order. Based on a December build, I assume that I will have the car in late January or early February. According to the 2007 Technical Information bulletin on the GT-3, it comes with Pilot Sport Cup tires, not so great a deal in the east in February.

I have the ref. # from my dealer it is listed a the top of my order/option list the dealer gave me after i placed my order. i am #1 on list on flemington porsche in nj , i was told first allocation of 68 cars nov build with dec delivery.but dealer hasen't called me with exact dates yet, maybe time to give them a ring ! something elce to pass along i asked dealer since this will be the 1st car to be delivered to them , will this be like a demo car where the dealer has to keep the car for a certian amount of time,so that they can show of the car and have everyone sit and lean on it. he said that it will have to stay for a short time , but did't say exactly how long .
