On a roll the GT3 is quicker than the Gallardo..But I have read the new Gallardo is quicker.

 

I dont understand how a 997TT would SMOKE a Gallardo, and the C6 Z06 will beat a 997tt, but a Gallardo and C6 Z06 would be close, that doesnt make sense!

Gt3 is most certainly NOT quicker than a Gallardo.

 

Maybe the 997TT wont smoke the Gallardo.

Sure you have Allan, you have done/had it all. Also, I am not using a card, it's a fact, the Porsche is built better and without question more reliable. Unlike yourself I do not need a car to help me compensate for other things

At the end of the day my money is on the GT3 at the track.

Stock GT3 is not quicker than modded 06 SE Gallardo. Stock 04-05 Gallardos are a different story.

I agree... it seems as though alan started a thread to vent because he just lost to a miata maybe? (kidding, of course).

I know that alot of the comments in here are just kidding around but sometimes I have a hard time reading alan's comments as "jokes" because they are so harsh... especially since he is the one arguing/starting useless threads.

 

The Porsche, may have been better built before, even I wont deny that, but better built then a Gallardo...hardly. But as I said, approx 8 years of owning my SV, without a single problem. But then again, even if it did have some problems, id still rather own the Lambo for the character it has over the Porsche anyday. Sort of like owning a Lexus or an AMG benz, the Lexus will be troublefree, but inmo, that is one of, if not the most BORING cars in the world, and give me an AMG (which is known to have issues) anyday.

 

I admit, I started this thread to watch all the responses, but I wasnt going to say we had actually raced until Luis chimed in.

Inmo, even an 04/05 Gallardo will beat the Gt3 if its a 6 speed.

As for my car being modded, its true that it is, but its highest dyno stock was 437rwhp, with all the mods we made 445, and torque increased by 1ft lb, so its not really a big difference. The difference between my car and most others, is that it is a 6 speed, which is faster than an Egear.

As for comparing the G to a GT2, according to RenntechV!2 and his dad, who I raced from approx 50-150mph, both of them felt my G wouldnt have a problem with a stock SL65 nor a stock Gt2.
