GT3 or Turbo?!?!?!

I know its apples to oranges, but what would you get if you had the choice. Tuning wise, the GT3 is not as tunable as the Turbo but people say its the best NA out there..

I hear it depends on how much you crave torque.

If you are more after a *****-crazy fast street machine...then turbo (i had a 996tt). if you want a more hard core, louder rougher track oriented machine...gt3.

i wish i had bought a gt3 the first time. not that it is a better car, just better at what i like. choose carefully.

I would definitely go Turbo. Unless you are a track junkie, the Turbos much better looks and modability far outweigh the anything the Gt3 has to offer.

Well I still havent gone to a track yet, but I really want to as soon as Work gives me a weekend off. Otherwise I love chasing faster cars or just going ***** out on the streets and freeways when I feel like it. Im tired on M3s wanting to race, I want to hit the big boys with Ferraries and Lambos. I just want the perfect all around, I think its the GT2, but could also get to that stage with a Turbo.

My dream car has always been the GT3 but, its really at its peak for performance. I just really have to drive both side by side and see what I trully want, I know I will always have to lust for more power, so the Turbo is winning by a bit.

I just have to see, thanks for all the input guys!!!

If you want torque and to terrorize the ferrari's and lambos on the steet...turbo all the way. Chip that bad boy and watch them grow smaller in your rearview.

The 911TT already IS a big boy. You won't need to fear anybody.

i say get both... they are no comparison to each other... one is a Formula 1 and the other one is a Merc doing 10s in the quarter... just apples and oranges... personally for my driving style... track junkie or not i prefer the GT3 in looks, performance, and handling... positives on the TT is easy tuneable, comfortable(compare to GT3 like a S600), and Torque Monster...

Couldnt agree more, BUT if you want a good compromise between the two, GT2 !

In my opinion there seems to be more tuning involved with suspension then there is with tuning an engine for high power. You can have a more powerful enigne and the car might be slower through the turns.
*It takes money to make a fast car go slow but it takes skill to make a slow car go fast.

The turbo would suit your needs. Can't ask for a better time to get a good deal on a 996 turbo.
