BTW on a service road out here by me, which isnt very long i reached 172 in a breeze, you can get up to 180 without a problem on the highway with these cars

 

So just because it was one test, it makes it definite? That would mean that you are willing to admit that the C6 Z06 is the better handling car and can produce faster times around a roadcourse EVERYTIME than a 997 GT3.

Also, don't forget that this test was done in the rain. We all know what would happen to a high HP rwd car vs. a heavier, AWD car in wet conditions.
But that really doesn't matter. Like I said dude, I raced a 997 TT and it would take a miracle for it to come back and pass. The Z06 would be so far ahead at 160 the owner wouldn't think twice about keeping on going..

 

Man, I bet if you chipped an M3, maybe put some headers on there and high-flow cats, it'd walk you guys with your Supercharged Vettes and Turbo Porches like you were standing still . . . .

Ya, the M3 is too fast. We wont get into that. That is in the CGT/Enzo territory.

The mags do not support your theory/claim vs the 997TT GT2 is even quicker

The dead horse has been beaten so much I think its coming back to life. And I'm not talking about the discussion of this magazine article... I'm talking about you reducing every thread down to "The z06 is faster than X car because of Y test showing Z result." Is it too much to ask to simply discuss an article without you interupting with every response being, "The z06 is still faster here?" We know its a rwd car... as you mention this in every other post. We know it has runflats... as you mention it in every other post. We know the trap speed and ET of the z06 becuase you mention it in every other post.

Keep repeating yourself... some people might have missed your last 296 posts!

Z06 has run-flats and still records better track times than the 997 GT3
Z06 has run-flats and still has recorded a 11.2@127 in bone stock trim, faster than any Porsche to date for the exception of the CGT (close).
