They do get in the rain in transit. I could not belive how filthy mine was on arrival.
BTW, my dealer brought mine inside the showroom right away because it was attracting far too much attention, some of the wrong type.

Hey Josh... took a quick peek at her today (was dropping off a car) and I'm sure glad we went with green. I like it even more in person than in the pix. It's just like the older cars in terms of the color- very deep. Ours is apparently May/June so for now I'll just have the memories of yours
