1st Kermit
It was sad to see it go home today,
I've never had kids, but I guess that feeling you get when you send them off to school is the same sort of feeling.. we all watched Josh drive away..
So Josh... first impressions!!??

I used to see your Red GT2 all the time and now I can't wait to see Kermit!Once again, congrats on a great car. I am very jealous!
Jeez....... Fred how can you be jealous of anyone elses cars. You have have some mighty fine machines of the last few years. I wish I had the $$ to ****** up the 996 you sold.
First, thanks to Carlsen Porsche for making this happen. Hard to believe its been 12 years since I bought my first Porsche from them and the entire process, as always, was a pleasure.
It will be a few days until I really get to drive it (heading to Premier on Saturday) but I can already tell from the short ride home that I love it - I've finally found a replacement for my GT2 (well at least until the next GT2 arrives). The Green is less pastel than I imagined from pics - as others have described its even better in person. All of the aesthetic details add up to a truly striking car - I couldn't stop smiling while staring at it. The radio sucks (who cares, I would have deleted it if possible) and the A/C is awful (oh wait, I don't have any
. The sound is INSANE - its terribly difficult to keep it below 5k rpms. The lightweight flywheel is a revelation - I wish I had installed one in my GT2. It feels incredibly planted on the road - I can only imagine now how good it must feel when the aero is really working. The seating position in the 997 is much improved over the 996 and even without full leather the materials quality is waaay better. I'm all about it!!!!!! More to come once I get to drive it. Oh yeah, I managed to pick it up before Mooty got his hands on it
LOL!
Thanks again to Carlsen and to the 6speed community!
