That is a absolute joke! It is one thing people bidding over the listed or sticker price, but a separate auction....That is disgraceful for that dealership, as a matter of fact I will now never be a customer of that dealership. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
The story I was told when I saw the car at the dealership 2 days ago was/is BS. I was told the car was SOLD to a guy that pulled strings direcly thru Porsche to get the car.... Sound like CRAP. If true, Porsche might like to know they were screwed.
$120,000...$10,000 over MSRP is 10k too much! A stripper for +10.
NO WAY!

The funny thing is there are idiots out there that may actually buy it. This happened a lot when the Z06s first came out.

Guys, it really is nothing new - simple market supply / demand!
C'mon if you guys could get $10k profit you would do it too! Although I don't agree with this principle it happens when a product is in high demand. Just look at the Ferrari's - you walk to any dealer and try to buy a F430 at sticker and they will laugh you out the door - even with your suitcase of cash!
I finally gave up trying to buy an F430 since I just don't have 30k extra to pay over MSRP for a new one or like $80k over for a used Spyder! I think it's amazing when a car can command such a price over time so obviously a great investment
Like they say, you gotta play to pay

There was a GT3RS that was on eBay that had not been delivered from the factory yet. They were asking a huge mark up over MSRP. Porsche saw it and canceled the person's order. Ooops!
The way this reads, the leasing company is selling this, not the dealer. They are trying to make a quick buck at the dealer's expense.
To bad this car is already on the ground. It would have been nice to see this order get canceled as well.
