Physical difference between GT2 and Turbo Air Charge Cooler

Hi,

I am a little concerned. I purchased a set of used Gt2 intercoolers and once I had my Turbo intercooler removed (no X50), I realized that they are physically the same.... They have the same number of row, the same depth, width and height and even the weight is the same. The only thing that is different, is the part number on the intercooler (it has not been altered IMO).

The part number on the Gt2 intercooler is 996 110 989 70 and 996 110 990 70 and both has AKG 10/01 sticker on them.

Is that normal or did I got scammed ?

They should not be the same. The fins on the GT2 intercoolers stick out way more than the much smoother turbo intercoolers.
