Thinking about buying the Redline Carrera GT
its not like the car got hit my a semi or has engine damage...for the most part its cosmetic except needing and axle, wheel, and rotor....not exactly bad damge but not minor either
there shoudl be no reason for the car to have a salvaged title unless it has more than $60k in damages...
it doesnt make any sense to buy it
now, if it was selling for $100k, then i would say its a buy...
anyways best of luck to you and your decision

i find it a bit hard to believe to spend this kind of money for the hassle u're gonna go through. but if u think it's gonna be a cool project then u're onto different thing i think... however, i don't think common sense will support what u said because bottom line is A WRECKED CAR IS A WRECKED CAR, period.
It is made of carbon fiber including the hub which prob. has stress cracks from that hit.
This will not be as easy to fix compared to a steel or alum. chassis car.
STAY AWAY FROM IT PLS.
It will prob also take Porsche like 3-6 mos to get the replacement parts for a car like this.
