MJ, a f@%#ing disaster. When we got to the track , there were very few clouds. Said hello to all of "mi jente" and customers. Did 3 laps when sprinkles started appearing on windshied. Then , like a June day in Miami, the skies opened up with monsoon type rain fall.

Not the best thing when driving a 650 + HP 996 GT2 with slicks I can assure you.

Oh well ,..... hasta proximo.

P.S. The Don Q rum made feel a little better after though..... not so good this morning.

My father had horses as well and he used to race them here as well as in Meadowlands and Aqueduct...in your neck of the woods. By the way, please tell Duane to be on the look out for the South Beach Breakfast Club post...last time we had a great time at TSP-Miami's shop Eurospeed!!

You were at FVD? Theo now owns his shop called Eurospeed...but I was there the morning that big group left to Orlando, I was in my ZO6.

 

I was at Eurospeed back when he had that small meet - I was with Orlando in his white TT - there were only like 5 guys there - I think it was in January

 

I missed that one...but was just there the weekend of the 12 Hours of Sebring...we ordered food and watched about the first four hours of the race...it was allot of fun...hopefully you can make it to the next one.

 

MJ, Whats the latest word on your GT3? Any updates?

My dealer told me the name of the vessel (Scandinavian Highway) as well as the port arrival date of 3rd April which was yesterday from there he said it will be approximately 4-5 days before we receive it...right around the corner!!!
