naturally if this was a timed event or competition then that will work itself out. however if this was not a timed run, then depending on the insurer this becomes grey.

and yes this is a free country. its not illegal to post pictures however it would be courteous to at least blur out the license plates. i wouldn't post it personally.
I understand your statement, but do you really think seeing posts on message boards will determine if a insurance company is going to pay a claim or not? I think the only issue will be the GT3 owner, the insured cars that were not even on the course, just parked will more then likely not have a issue. But it just seems were giving opinions on something we really know nothing about, unless of course you are a insurance adjuster?

halfday is infamous around these parts
insurance adjuster? no thanks, not for me!
this is based on an experience a good friend of mine had at road atlanta. occured at a driving school but timing devices were present even though he did not have one equipped. he was so shook up from the incident and it didn't help to be told pictures of his accident were all over the internet. personally it made him feel worse about an honest mistake. i'm not sure if the insurance company pulled it up but he did spend 6 months fighting to get it covered. honestly, what benefit does it do posting wrecked car pictures. it just raises speculation. i feel really bad about these folks involved. just glad no one got hurt! could have been much worse.
