This car was owned by Daniel Sadek, the producer of the movie REDLINE. This is not the one that gets thrown off of the cliff during the movie. This one was damaged while filming in the Nevada or Arizona desert. (They damaged two $450k Carrera GT's while filming ... one intentionally and then this one...) The car is owned by us now and needs the following parts: Front bumper cover, left front brake rotor, left front wheel, front and rear under trays, LR axle and a few misc. items. This car is not for the backyard mechanic. Every part mentioned above costs more then many complete cars. The car starts and runs, but because of the damaged axle will not drive. All radiators and cooling are good and the car sounds like no other ... awesome!

How much you think it would cost to fix something like that up?
I'd pick it up and send it to Gemballa for a makeover if i had the dough

from what i understand, it was a salvage car to begin with. they fixed up the body then re-crashed it.

I think you're talking about the other CGT they had in the film. That one was already crashed and salvaged, they re-crashed it.

It doesn't matter. Somehow I don't feel good about exotics being destroyed for any reason, let alone a B movie that will be out of theatres before you know it.

How many exotics have to die for bad "art"?

From the CGT Vehicle Description:

"Helmut,

I thought it would be appropriate to send you a nice little note telling you what a piece of $#%@ you are. You tell someone in the States to bid on a car for you and then you don't pay. NICE!!!! Not only have you cost him $25400 (10% relist fee) you have cost me time and money. Over 4 weeks ago the car sold at auction to YOU for $254000... YOU out bid the next highest bidder of $253000... That guy would have paid! Unlike your sorry &$$! I don't care how much money you have in the bank or if you are the head of some huge corporation, I think you are the lowest piece of $#%@ that walks the earth. If your word is no good then you are no good.

Kind Regards,"
