Ahhhh, I knew I could instill some life into this forum. Tyson, the question is, can a GT2 get around my training wheels?
If you gave me $300,000 to spend on it, I bet I could. Want to make a charitable donation towards the poor man's GT2 mod fund?

Chris, I agree, I think the forum would be better as a GT2/GT3, keep these 2WD monsters together.
I agree...

Guys,

I am sorry to say that I disagree. For answers to GT2 tuning, wheels, maintenance, and other questions, GT2 owners would search in the twin turbo thread as it does share the same engine, though minor tweaks. Drive train issues never come up. It seems to be similar to a GT3 when it comes to tracking. But we carefully thought this thru last year. This is why the forum is the way it is.

As far as more traffic to the GT3 and 996 sections, well that will come in due time. We will be marketing much more, with hemmings, dupont, and other magazines. Events / meets will help spread the word as well.

I also do not agree with placing the GT3 section merged with the 996 section. The popularity of the forums is in direct relationship with the production numbers of the models.

Grin and bear it for now. When our marketing efforts kick in, there will be a lot more "good" porsche traffic.

Thanks,
Shank

One solution, renaming the 996Turbo/GT2 to 996Turbo would still have allowed GT2 engine issues to be covered there. Another solution could have been to leave everything the same, except changing the GT3 forum to GT3/2 or maybe even simply GT...

It sounds like most GT2 owners on this board want to join the GT3 forum.

They say, the customer is always right...
