Almost every single Porsche forum is now saying this. I think we'll all feel better once it's official, but there's clearly a ton of momentum from those who have all heard this. I for one, am anxiously excited at the thought of finally getting on 08 at MSRP since I've been on the waitlist for almost 2 years now.

....Yeah right!The price is set by supply and demand. Unfortunately, precedence was set when that first person spent 200+K for his or her GT3RS and now the price is set. Obviously I hope that those who have spent 50-75K over are getting their money's worth, and don't get ripped in the long run especially with another 170 cars coming out. I do not think I am alone when the thought of a slime-ball dealer pocketing someone's hard earned 50-75 grand, just makes me want to heave.
So what if you can afford it. Many on these pages can and many would love to have a GT3RS in their garage, me included. Just remember that dealer just walked away with YOUR money, laughing all the way to his or her bank!
The GT3RS is a GREAT car...the dealer who just stole 50-75K of your money is scum and a thief.
Pretty harsh words I know but it annoys me to no end that some have the audacity to do this and others just put up with it. Demand better!
