Correct color touch up paint for stock GT3 wheels?

So I have a tiny rock chip on my stock silver GT3 wheel.

I went to the dealer and they said Porsche does not provide touch up paint for any of their factory wheels

Is this true?

They look like Arctic silver but I didn't want to just guess and be wrong. What's the deal here

there is an option code for Arctic Silver wheels for your GT3 wheel, but it may be possible that you have the standard silver wheel which has no paint touch up for it

So there's no "standard silver" touchup paint

WTH is up with that. I guess anyone rolling on factory Porsche wheels are allowed to get any chips/damage.

this is something that has come up time after time here at my dealer, and i find it very odd that Porsche has touch up paint for everthing but the wheels, im sure a body shop could mix up a perfect match for you, we have a wheel repair guy that comes once a week and he paints wheels for us that have curb damage and its always a perfect match

If you just go to Wally Mart and pick up the Duplicolor "Scratch Fix" HA 00968 silver it's almost an exact match. They're less than $5.00 and you'll never know the difference
