A few laps @ Sebring with my GT3 (Video)

Hey guys,

I just did a DE at Sebring past Saturday and wanted to share this with you. This was the first time for me on that track and man is it a challenging course!!

The video is from the end of the second session, I'm just slowly picking up on the lines here so don't expect to see anything special. Just cruising around the track.
I had Erik Gielen, a PCA instructor, riding shot gun, which was very nice!
He's a great guy and a super good instructor!! Propably the best out there if you ask me!

I picked up a little bit more speed on the last session but unfortunately forgot to turn my camera on. But hey, next time!!

I loved the car a lot when I first got it, I loved it more after a DE at moroso, but now I REALLY love the car!!! Man, why didn't I get one earlier...

Here you go: http://m3supercar.1g.fi/Videos/Sebring-2007.wmv

Thanks for the compliments!

This was my second track day with the GT3 and truth be told, my second track day ever!! So I'm a complete n00b at this!
Don't forget though that I'm a Finn and therefore used to driving on the ****tiest roads in the worst icy/slippery conditions with the crappiest and oldest cars in existence...

Thanks!

I'm doing it now every time I drive the car on the street (don't wanna practise it on the track as I have so many other things to try to learn at the same time and I don't really wanna miss a braking zone... )

It's funny how I allways thought heel&toe was just for the hardcore racers and that for most ordinary people it was just a wannabe-racer thing.
Now that I've done two DE's, I can clearly see how it would benefit me to master the heel&toe technique!

You don't need it on the street, that's for sure but coming into a braking zone for a hairpin turn at +140mph at Sebring is where you need it as you really don't wanna upset the car by engine braking...
