Congrats these are awesome mods Fred. Carry racer's tape with you "just incase". Who knows, better safe than sorry. You may get stranded with a slight sprinkle coming down, just tape up the holes on the windows from both sides so they wont leak, also good for when you do wash the car even by hand, you don't want a small amount of water dripping down into the car and onto the Alcantara. How about some pix of the doorhandles you mentioned? Also, I'm pretty sure Lexan is legal for those windows, the only law that necessitates glass, is for the windshield, hence companies use plastic rear windows in convertibles.

 

How much did the rear windows weigh just out of curiosity ?

what is the purpose of the cup windows? it seems like a big sacrifice with regards to all weather driving and security, and detracts from the appearance.

i can see if you were getting paid to win races and every ounce counts, but what are the advantages for the average car enthousiast?
