Heel / Toe Shifting

I have only had my car for one week, but am not finding it as easy to h/t the down shifts. I got to where it was routine in the 993, but the accelerator also seems to be set back a bit further. The fact that the PCCB brakes are so sensitive doesn't help either (not complaining about the brakes. they are great). I know a lot of you roll you foot to blip the accelerator, but I actually h/t.

Anyone else finding it a bit tougher with the new 3? Do you actually h/t or do you roll you foot over?

I too find it very difficult to do my normal toes rolling method. May have to swap them out for racing pedals.

Roll your foot and get new pedals. You can get a gas pedal that is adjustable as far as sticking farther out so the brake and gas don't have such a difference in them.

It's also tougher to do it on the street because your not threshold braking, so the brake pedal will be higher. When you get it on the track you should have no problem.

rmag,

great insight. I drove quite hard through the northern Georgia mountains Wednesday and it was indeed easier to h/t when I was pushing the car.
