Luis great comments and I want to hilite one of you thoughts-the sunroof. You're right-its so unobtrusive you hardly note its there. You sit lower in a 997 so what ever you did in a 996 you should be able to do in a 997 with sunroof. I whined about the sunroof before I drove one but hardly notice it now. Whats amazing to me is those that still rail about it even though they have never sat in one.

I honestly believe this is the best 911 ever made out of the box. IMO this car has a more refinement characteristics of a 993 than a 996.
You can never get that same raw and angry engine sounds from the 996 variants no matter how you mod them. And the power band is just perfect. (I was also surprised that I was able to pull on the Atomic's 997tt from 60-110mph.)

Yeah, once you drive it - all the other silly issues go right out the window. The sunroof, the weight, the TCS. None of it matters once you drive it. I have driven many cars and I can't think of anything that comes to close to it.
