315/25/19?

Since the 997 GT3s have 19x12 rears, what's your thoughts on running 315/25/19? The 997TTs have 19x11 and they can run 305/30/19 (same as stock 3s), so if 305s can fit on 11" widths, I don't see why we can't run 315s on 12". BTW, they have the 315s in PS2s.

it's not the width but the rolling diameter. the stock PS2 305/30-19's overall diameter is 26.3''. the PS2 315/25-19's overall diameter is 25.2''.

How about 315/30/19?...rolling dia is 26.4". Basically, I want the tires to be wider. So what other sizes are others running (F & R)? Thanks! Anyone running wider fronts to match the wider rears?

Why do you want wider rears?

Agreed. There have been posts here before on OD differences. The 997 is not the 996 - there has to be a taller back tire on the new ones.

315/30 19 isn't a size anybody makes a tire in. At least not a tire we carry....
