Does anyone know where I can get the 50 state emission certification for California? My GT3 is being delivered in a couple of days from an Oregon dealer and they told me that I will need the 50 state emission certification in order to complete the registration process with the California DMV.

The car will be slate gray, with fairly minimal options. I can't wait!

 

I had to do the same thing 3 months ago. You will need to get a smog check done on your car and then take it to the local CA DMV office where they will look under engine cover to verify that it is a 50 state car. Then you send the all paperwork to the selling dealer/broker and they should take care of the CA DMV registration. Good Luck.

 

just need to do the smog check. car is already 50 states emission legal.
