Can modified TT's compete?

Can a modified TT compete with a GT2 on a track or given road course? What hp advantage or additional mods would it need(if any) or is the 200+lbs weight disadvantage too much to overcome? Can the awd allow it to compensate for the weight? Does anyone know of any such comparison? Too bad they did not test a GT2 (modded or not) in the Euro Tuner test. Aren't there European and Australian race teams that field a TT? I wonder how well they compete overall and against the inevidable GT2 and 3's? Given the mods that some of us have invested in our TT's, I'd like to think the cars stand a chance against the GT cars, drivers notwithstanding. I am just amazed with my car's speed and capabilities against other sports cars and just wonder how much better the GT's can be since I've never driven one or gone head to head on a track. I'd like to know before I make a possible move
