2 months, 3000 mi, 300 on track...

starting to know the car now and this is what i think so far.

on track it is about perfect. went to watkins glen with trackmasters as an intermediate level driver. got my times into the 2:20's thanks to incredible instructor rich from pca niagra region. advanced drivers with slicks did in the mid teens.

car does not even get hot after 30 minutes of this. my 95 ferrari had me worried it would catch fire after 20 minutes. gets 10 mpg on track too. i need to get it to an open parking lot to see how tc works, final grip is reached, etc. cant get feel for this even on track as mistake at glen puts you in wall. brake pedal doesnt feel that firm with stock pads/fluid but there is no fade from baseline.

for street use, best feature is build quality. feels indistructable. gets almost 30 mpg hiway. could use some small changes though. the exhaust is bad with sound changing based on valves opening/closing with rpm. should just be loud and light weight. maybe switch for hiway cruising but not changing with rpm. dont want to buy $3k muffler for $120k car though so living with it now that i unplugged the vacuum switch.

sport button is silly. why would anyone want the slow throtle response engine mapping in this type car? get rid of button and always be in sport mode.

traction control should then have 3 settings. off, tc, and tc plus stability control for bad weather. people who drive long distances in rain, sleet, etc need this. no down side to the 'purists' who disdain electronic helpers. just leave it off.

shock setting could have 3rd setting for potholes, etc. those in warm climates dont need this but snow belters would benefit. again no harm to 'purists' as they could just leave it in stiff all time.

finally, would be nice if front plastic spoiler was easily removable so i can take it off when needed and put it back on in under minute without tools.

thats about it so what do others think?
