I hate to say this but I think the Ferrari 430 Scuderia isgoing to outperform 997 GT2
Ferrari at the track are few and far between esp street versions. Lmk where they host their private sessions. They are beautiful but c'mon when u don't see much out there why buy one-what can u do on the street-show off? Mike PS- ferrari guys who has the highest mileage modern f-car?
I'm willing to bet that the 997 GT2 will greatly outperform the Scuderia in every category.
7:31 at the Ring is crazy fast!! When it comes to performance, Porsche reigns supreme!

Well the previous Challenge Stradale, Ferrari said it weighed around 2800ish pounds. When people actually weighed their CS's they were getting around 3000ish pounds. I think their was a big debate on that. So hopefully Ferrari's claimed weight on the Scuderia is actually true and not 200 pounds more.
these cars exist to give owners fantasy of driving race cars. in that respect the scud will win due to feel, sound, etc.
however imo the 2 will win timed competitions due to huge torque adv. will also be close to 1/2 real world $ as scud
this is always the way it has been for p vs f

strads weigh over 3000# espec. USA models. US scuds will weight around 3200-3300#
not a chance the scud can beat the 2

The title says "outperform" doesn't specify in what area. In the marketplace the Scud will not just out perform it will destroy the GT2.
But we all know Sir Walter could take any VW and beat any Fiat.
I think it's a little for both, with an emphasis on marketing as the RSR doesn't have a 3.6...

At these levels who cares. They are both sick fast. I have a GT3 & 430.
Get what you want to drive. Not which is a few seconds faster at the Ring over 7min 30sec.
No one here would come close to those times in any car. You either prefer P or F or both.

Are in South Jersey?
I have a feeling the non Porsche enthusiasts and non turbo enthusiasts will be very surprised with this GT2, maybe its my speculation but these car's just keep getting better and better. I think the GT2 will have a PURE feel with better driver connection and feedback to the road, better sounds and throttle response, time will tell!
