I asked LOC to email the factory and get permission to order a car (6 speed) Ithaca Green.

Factory emailed back same day....NO!!!!!!!!!!

Told them I wasn't going to buy another color.. it didn't matter NO Ithaca Green SL will be made.


Oh well.......................nice thought Ithaca Green SL Twin Tubo Gallardo.....not happening.

Lamborghini could care LESS about selling another car...

 

I was talking to mono about this last night, and was under the impression that Verde Ithaca was available on the GSL...apparently I was mistaken

 

Not a big deal bro...it happens. Lamborghini is extremely adamant on restricting SL colors... however I do know of ONE super rare Balloon White SL out there. The GSL is available in 5 colors Giallo Midas (Pearl Metallic Yellow), Arancio Borealis (Pearl Metallic Orange), Nero Noctis (Gloss Black), Grigio Telesto (Metallic Grey) and a flat white (dont know the proper name)

If you're going to go to the expense and trouble of turbocharging the thing, just buy one in any given color and paint it.

 

+1 paint it whatever color makes you happy . . .

TT'ing a gallardo isnt even worth it imo...55k to run 10's? weak..

And reliability after that is questionable..

 

I was thinking the same thing. Rip the whole freakin car apart and paint it, add TT's, and new wheels and custom interior....then put it all back together and take a pic and email it to Lambo

 

definitely worth it IMHO. Reliabilioty NOT a factor...I put over 16,000
miles on my twin turbo Gallardo..a RELIABLE daily driver..no probs.
