LP560-4 Pricing?
Why on earth would a Gallardo go for $280K? That's around $30K short of the LP640 MSRP*.
Naw, the Gallardo was originally around $180,000 MSPR*, so expect it maybe around $200K.
*MSRP figures from ForbesAutos.

The base price of a 6-Speed will be $200K, E-Gear will be $210K.
A nicely optioned out car (6-speed or E-gear) will go between $230K and $245K depending on options and tranny choice.
This is not a guess; this is straight from the '09 price list.

"If you haven't already put down a deposit on a 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, you're looking at a nine-month wait, minimum. At the end, the lucky few will be obligated to fork over $212,600, including $2,600 in gas-guzzler tax. If you choose the traditional six-speed manual transmission with a conventional clutch pedal (a version not presented to us in Vegas), you'll part with only $203,000."

Do you really think that if you don't have a deposit on one that there will be a 9 month wait or do you think there will be plenty of them available on the showroom floors?
When will we first start seeing used ones available? The demos will be available for sale after the first couple months of 2009...
No, about 12k above existing Gallardo pricing.
However if you chose any of the MAT Finishes like MAT WHITE - 30k option.
My dealer said, "oh my god its a completely different car than the gallardo" - ummm yeah right. I am sure there are improvements, but I'd expect the feel to be very similar. 11.4 in the 1/4 mi tho.. not bad.
