No. I will wholesale them immediately for 10-15k profit on each maybe more! My research shows a 2006 Gallardo cpe. at auction with 2000 miles sold for 165k July 30.

So I think I am going to try and get that one for 180, but I have a friend/acquaintance that has a dealer license and has a small dealership, if I don't grab that one next week should I have him try and get me one at wholesale? I mean how does that work? if someone has details on that type of transaction, any info would be great (PM me or whatever).
Thanks for all the help guys.

not sure where you get "your research" but manheim has an 06 verde coupe with 1900 miles selling for 152K back in feb/08, a yellow 06 SE with 4600 miles sold for 139500 in june/08, and a yellow 06 spyder with 6800 miles sold for 165 in july/08.

BTW, 07 spyders are selling around 165ish as well.

enjoy the "easy flip" olegs

I just got back from Dallas and looked at an 08 coupe with E gear . They are asking 185K but will drop the price. I also looked at an 06 SE they are selling for approx 150 ish. I am curious as to which of these cars will be an easier car to sell in a year or 2. Any thoughts from you guys who buy and drive these cars?? Both cars are low miles, but I know I will put about 3k per year one any car I get.
Thanks,
FS

great question!!
i think the 08 will be easier to sell becasue it will still be under factory warranty, the bad news is i think you will lose more $$ on the 08.
i would guess 1 yr on an 08 coupe will cost 25-35K, 1 yr on the SE will cost 15ish.

i am interested in others thoughts as well on this topic

thanks

That's true, but I'd rather do that than spend more on an older model.

Being so, I'm assuming then, that you don't want to wait for the car to be built, and that's why you're not considering a '09 over a '08.

Just bought an 07 Nera Gallardo, w/ 4k miles for $164k. Best part is they gave me $119k for my 07 997 turbo, 6k miles, sport chrono, 6 spd, no PCCB. $45k + my car. Thought that was fair.

Nice, what number did you get? Was it the 6-Speed one in Ohio?

If talking in 2 years, that 3 year warranty may be up depending on when that 08s warranty card was punched. I have looked at a few that were punched in late 07...but that is my same motivation behind looking at the 08s as well.

Any thoughts on 6 speed vs E gear as far as resell. It seems that there are fewer 6 speeds made. I get the feeling that the e gear is more desirable for most people. I originally set out with the intention of a manual gearbox, but am starting to rethink this. The dealer in Dallas stated that he felt resale was better with the E gear, but he was also trying to sell me the 08 Egear coupe.
I actually had to ask him to show me the SE with the manual.

Others can state better, but I initially wanted a 6-speed, but something over 90% are made with e-gear. With updated software and such I hear its a good system...and I figure with as few of the cars out there that you could buy with such a system, that I am willing to give one a try. I'm definitely not turned off to the 6speed, but also it appears that the SL is only e-gear, so not really an option if I decide to go that route.

that sounds like a great deal!!

makes me think that 185K for an 08 coupe is too high with your Nera price.

enjoy!!

Hey guys,

If this helps, I just traded my loaded pearl yellow '07 coupe for $170K trade value towards my purchase.

BTW, I have not seen a lp560 with a window sticker for less than $242K.

Dave, spend the extra $$ and get the SL w/CCB's!!

So you still loving the SL and feel like its a pretty serious upgrade from your 07 Pete?
