bill3571 this is your big chance to put up or shut up. Let's see pictures of your build if you really have one. Otherwise it looks like you are trying to fool people with BS. A baller like you has to have a digital camera right? bill? bill? HELLO

First off I have to say to ripper thanks for telling your own truth.I looked at the pics over and over, I honestly don't know how a "world class builder" like Heffner would build something like that.Granted it was an early kit and I understand the need to get the car out on the street, but what i cant understand is why Heffner wouldn't bring the car back and improve on it as he has gets newer parts and the R&D shows true? I don't know the details on this build but please correct me if I am wrong I cant see 60 K on that build.I have heard other horror stories about his Vipers, but what has me confused is how busy he is and how there are many many people that are happy with his product.I have no opinion on him or his work, but but I have to say based on those pictures I don't think his shop would see a shiny red penny from me.With me being in Canada we don't have allot of these trick builds, but when I decided to build a 3.8 L for my Porsche TT, I did my research and called every tuner out there. My approach was not common, I simply understated what i wanted and I sat back listen to what they all had to say,how they treated me and how they dealt with problems.I don't care who builds your car, its going to have issues, to me its how those issues are addressed.I understated what I wanted to do, because when a builder hears the kind of cash your going to drop, they will promise you the world. There is always more to the story, and even then the truth is most times in the middle, but I cant see any justification for this very poor workmanship.Guys this was a 60 K build.......think about it 60 K.This is way its important to be close to your build and to know whats going on with it, even if your tight for time, the builder can take pics and email them...there is no excuse for the builder or the customer on this one.ripper if you saw the garbage going in the car I am sure you could have done something about it then before it got this far,but the other side of the coin was you sent it to Heffner and I guess with his reputation at the time you thought you had nothing to worry about.Only advise I can give you stay close to this build...

Then show us a shot of how the wires were routed through your fuel cover assembly. Did you get the used viper injectors in your car or something new. A dyno sheet would also be great. I'm sure you have nothing to hide so post them up for a fair comparison.

For what its worth,

If anyone who is considering a TT G from either tuner there are quite a few sticky posts on lambopower.com of Heffner TT G's. They include pics of the car, the TT set ups and dyno graphs showing 1000+ HP.

Ripper, how is your new set up coming along? How about some pics and comments?

Suprisingly, alot of ignorant people on here. The decision seems pretty obvious to me. To anyone who would initially treat a gallardo like a civic.... Off with their head. I've heard of people having issues with Heffner so this is nothing new. UGR thank you for building a product worthy of a lamborghini.

Heffners quality control must have been "out to lunch" when Rippers car took shape. Either that or it was out in the parking lot with the shop owner playing with RC cars while his hack techs whittled away.

I've certainly heard plenty but unless I experience it for myself or have firsthand knowledge
I say nothing.

Your posts regarding classless speak for themself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vaguely suggesting problems is worse than making (unsubstanciated) accusations. If you don't make any specific accusations, it's impossible for UGR to respond. You should either really say nothing, or make the accustation. Now you leave people wondering what these suggested problems could be, and with a negative impression that UGR cannot resolve.

G-Force seems like a nice guy, although I've heard some things about him. I'm not gonna tell you what, because I don't have any prove. My lips are sealed.

Suppose I introduce you this way. "some things" might be that you don't recycle, or it could be that you steal from clients. People will wonder and distrust, and you can't do anything about it.

Seriously though, that electrical work and welding don't belong on any car. These types of posts typically lead to better quality work on both sides. Having "custom" kits doesn't necessarily mean better quality. I have seen Hennessey's work since 1993. Most people wouldn't give him a dime if they saw what he used to do. His turnkey stuff is much better, but I have met some of the people that worked at his facility as little as 3 years ago. You wouldn't want some 20 year old kit welding on your $100k + auto. Custom kits are a slippery slope in any car. Rebuilds are quite common on any car. Good quality work is good quality work doesn't matter what car you drive. You are right that quality of work does not befit any car. No excuse.

Wow... sweet turbo setup. The UGR looks far superior in terms of engineering and quality.
