Great Video! One question though....How on earth did you not get any wind noise?!
There were a couple ways I tried. First, I got a DAT recorder and mounted it outside and behind Kirby's Gallardo with one of the camera mounts. By putting it behind the car and out of the wind turbulence, I got a clean sound sample. The thing to watch out for are the levels. When you're heavy on the throttle, that's when the exhaust noise is at it's loudest. The dB is above 0 and there's a lot of distortion, so you need to reduce the mic gain. Second way is to put the camera and mic behind the cabin, put a dead cat on the shotgun mic, turn down the mic level and hope for the best.
