New camcorder means new video

How do you get those driving shots and how do you do that panning and flyovers and all that.
I am wicked amateur and suck total *** at shooting video, but I think its fun and would like to get better at it. So I apologize for the questions, but that sh** looked GREAT.

Were the two body mounted shots (one through rear window, one on the rear louvers) shot at two different times and re synced?

No, the body mounts were shot at the same time with 2 different cameras and 2 different mounts. The left scene is the HVX200A and the right is a Sony HVR A1U. They were synced in post.

Got it, both look fantastic. Nice sync too!
very nice. i'm going to get an hvx soon as well. got a DVX now. what kind of equipment do you use (crane, dolly, mount on car) I'm going to be purchasing some of that as well but trying to see what everyones using and how happy they are with it. vid looks great. im adding you as a contact on vimeo!

Hey, hey I had to drive slow...
First time using the suction cups and we didn't want to lose a camera and then when I was driving in the neighborhood those people came out and gave us dirty looks. Like why is this weirdo driving up and down our street? hahaha
But, ya...I do tend to drive slow. =(
