Gents

Thanks for the kind words .. Lamborghini has been a product we have been servicing in small numbers for about a year now. With the closing of the dealership it allowed us to move forward with our program and bring the brand in house full time.

Jeff,

You should guys to come down to our Open House next Saturday from 11-4 PM.
We will have a few Lambo's on sight and it will give the Lambo guys an oppurtunity to come in an view our facility and meet the team.

We have brought on a factory trained Lambo tech who specializes in the modern cars and is trained all the way up to the LP560 2009 models. Additionally all diagnostic equipment is available on site. So if its an oil change or a clutch replacement ( 6 speed or e- gear) engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild, head gasket , elecrical issue or scheduled minor and major service we have the properly trained personel and equipment to do it right the first time.
We have invested in the technologies to properly service and maintain these vehicles so Lambo owners can rest assured that the work will be done correctly the first time.

For the "Fun Stuff"
We have also acquired a 2006 Lambo Gallardo 6 Speed.. This car will be a development test bed for GMG and its product partners like RSC Tuning. We will develop this car much like we did our GT2 but this car will also be stripped, lightened and turned into a GT class race car. No plans to run it professionally yet but we are planning on running it in club racing such as POC , SCCA , NASA, track events, time trials and more.
Early testing at WSIR this year showed that the car has potential to be a very competitive and reliable car even completely stock the car showed great speed and reliability.

Reliability will be the key focus of the car through out its development. It will also give us and our partners an oppurtunity to showcase products in competition.
Expect to see development in the following areas:
Aerodynamics, carbon replacement body parts as well as wider FIA GT3 type fenders
Suspension upgrades which are adaptable and suitable for street cars. Damper upgrades from our project partners, Clutch and flywheel upgrades, exhaust, intake , cooling, brakes, wheels and tires will all be addressed. Including the safety of the vehicle which will include a full roll cage, lightweight racing seats, fire system and more. All the upgrades will have a street derived focus so enthusiasts can upgrade with quality parts that improve the performance of there cars without sacrifcing the reliability or driveability.

With that being said...

I would like to further extend the invitation to our OPEN HOUSE-GTG next Saturday Jan 17,2009 from 11-4

We hope you can join us..

Here is a picture of the car at WSIR..

ScottL is infamous around these parts
Was out on track in my Superleggera for the first time this weekend at Spa.

I've been tracking Porsche's for the last few years (996GT3 MkII, 996RS and 997RS) so the Superleggera was a new experience for me.

My car is standard apart from a mild geo/corner weight. I was running Pirelli Corsa R's (235 front and 305 rear).

Enjoyed driving the car on track. Gearbox, brakes and engine were very good. But I found the chassis a little too soft for my liking. Too much understeer and front end generally felt a little floaty and not "keyed into" the tarmac as much as I'd like. Quite a lot of dive under braking.

Brakes were good but the pedal response was a little inconsistent. I guess SRF fluid would help. Worth upgrading the standard pads?

What about suspension and aero upgrades? Anyone out there tracking a Gallardo or Superleggera in anger?
