This morning I dropped my 04 egear Gallardo in at Lamborghini Brisbane Australia for its 40,000 service. No issues requiring attention since its last service just over a year ago. I have had the G heading for 4 years having purchased it privately when it was around 12 months old.

The reason for the post is that the G had 2 clutches put in very early in its life. 1 at 1500km prior to me purchasing and another under w/tee at around 12,000 km from memory. When I dropped the car today in I asked them to plug in the factory computer and see how the clutch is fairing. They can in 2 minutes measure wear and distortion. Approx 28,000km on this D type clutch and its just 50% worn.
I live in an apartment in the city with the G parked 4 levels down working the clutch swinging around the steep levels to exit. I have never launched the car so am still suprised it has another 30,000 to go.
The 40,000km Lambo dealer service is other wise quoted at $1800 australian dollars or $2,600 US. First class service.
