Short term lease....

Thinking about branching out to a short term lease use of cars I have in stock...

Say a 90 day "summer term"

You pay shipping to and from my location

Pay a monthly fee

Have insurance with Cats Exotics named as an additional insured

Pay a per miles fee use

Return it with a full fluids service completed

AND if you want to purchase it after the 90 days...ALL funds paid toward the lease go towards the purchase of the vehicle

Any thought on this guys oh and gals as well..?

I think that's a great idea, only not the per miles charge. If you do it, you should allow a certain amount of miles per month and then charge for anything over. Maybe 500 miles/month allowed plus fee for extra. And the fact you would let all the lease $$ go towards purchase is a nice bonus.

another question:

what if we're LOCAL and wish to drive the car to and from the shop, thus we don't need the delivery charges baked in? wouldn't that LOWER the cost per month by about $1,000.00 given the shipping charge of $1,500 each way, under normal circumstances?

Roy, what do you use to define "normail vehicle wear and tear". I have had some questions about this and I think you could be setting yourself up if you do not have tis defined in the contract...

Whats with the age discrimination? Some of the worst drivers I know are over 30. I agree 17 year olds should drive rented lambos, but with your collateral requests and such, shouldnt you be covered???
