A few questions about an LP560
A few questions about an LP560
Hi,
I'm in the early stages of looking into getting an LP560-4, i currently have an '08 BMW M3, so it will be a fairly big leap for me.
i had a few questions regarding general Gallardo ownership..
- What are they like in very hot humid weather?
- Whats the visibility like in a Gallardo?
- How easy are they to park?
- Do people CONSTANTLY stare and take pictures when your driving around? (people stare at me in the M3)
as for the colour combo im planning, Grigio Antares with a quilted "Chocolate Janus" interior.
thanks

Overall visibility is very good. Parking and driving the LP560 is easy, as it is a very small car. It does draw quite a bit of attention, so you need to be ready. What I don't like about it is the amount of people who drives in your blind spot all the time looking at the car.
Good luck!
Good luck!
Just been out for a couple of hours in my Spyder with the top down and its hotter and humid than hell here right now.I just ran the A/C whilst driving and it was fine.
I think it also depends if you work inside and are not used to the heat when you go out in it. I work outside all day so it does not bother me.
Had loads of people trying to get up alongside to take pics and you do have to be careful of cars coming from nowhere.
Visibility is ok with top down.
Yes it does attract a lot of attention, isn't that what you buy a Lambo for?

If you think people stare at you in the M3, you have no idea what you're in for. I've had mine for a little over a week, the attention is crazy. I can see why people get sick of it [attention] over time. That's just part of owning an exotic in general though.
Visibility isn't bad out of the front, but the seating position is extremely low and you can't see where your front bumper ends. It takes some getting used to. Most G's have a backup camera but it would be nice to have a parking sensor system (not available).
I double check before changing lanes, like others have said you never know who's sitting in your blind spot. Overall I'm comfortable driving the car but my 997 was a lot better in terms of visibility.
Best way is to go for a test drive.
