Customer brought in a slightly used LP with quite a few rock chips. Seeing how fragile the paint is on his LP560, he decided to cover the whole hood, full fenders, bumper, mirrors, lights, rockers, full doors, and a few other areas where chipping is most prominent.

In addition, he saw us applying tint to a LP640 and decided to inquire about it. Saw a demonstration of our product and was very impressed with the performance in heat rejection with our latest creation. He decided to go with our Diamond Cut IR Tint 62%

Then we decided to perform a demo on how well our Diamond Cut IR tint works - even at 63%

It was the perfect day to test our product - it is running about 100 degrees in Fremont right now!

We cracked the window on the driver's side about 4 inches to allow direct sunlight hit the surface of the interior panels. This test is to show the surface temperature of the area where direct sunlight comes through and where the surface areas are protected by our Diamond Cut IR tint.

In 23 minutes and 13 seconds, the surface temperature rose to 160 degrees where the center console was exposed to direct sunlight.

In 23 minutes and 21 seconds, the surface temperature of the area where light was shining through our tinted glass recorded a very impressive 110 degrees.

This is a difference of 50 degrees in surface temperature in a little over 23 minutes!

Do you just clear bra over the chipped areas, or are they repaired first?

 

it comes down to the size of the chips. Someone with experience with clear bra application would be able to give you an assessment of whether or not certain sized chips are to be touched up prior to the installation.

Is this the ceramic film from Formula One?

 

No it is not. This is our own product created specifically for maximum IR blockage without affecting any signals whatsoever.

Diamond Cut IR will block 94% of infrared rays whereas the traditional ceramic films (huper, formula one, vkool, etc.) only block about 70% of IR.
