Cars

I do have to add one more thing. To say any car dealer is a "rip-off" for offering 10-12 yr. financing is just not being educated in the buying of these type of cars. Everybody that has bought them knows about these long term deals ( i have used it myself a few times) Do you really think you can buy a 170k car for 1300 a month? Hell my 60k Lexus is 1k a month.

I spoke to Aboshu (spelling??) yesterday about the (2) 6-speed Gallardo's they have in stock. He was very friendly and offered the black car (too bad I can't stand the ivory interior). He threw out a price and I will tell you it was expensive as compared to market. Of course since I'm not keen on the ivory interior, I didn't press much to see if they would negotiate but I will say, he was very professional.

Oh, that is interesting...Abojo introduced himself as the sales manager... Maybe you and I can chat offline via PM. I am interested in the yellow/black Gallardo if you still have it.

I sure hope so. Your so called "salespersons" that were removed managed to cost me approximately 1k in airfare to check out one of your cars. Of course it was to good to be true and had undisclosed damage. Thank my lucky stars I got off my azz and flew down to check it out. Otherwise it would have turned into my biggest nightmare. Good luck with turning your business around.

I am not sure I understand this marketing tactic. Domani Motors lowers the starting bid by $5000 each time this item is relisted. But how will that attract buyers if the reserve remains unchanged?

Actually I can see with clarity now the point Domani was making on their black car. Since it is black and so rare, they should raise their selling price to $170K buy it now. Why bother with a $125K starting point list? Surely someone in this state of economy would step up to buy for such a rare find.

I agree wholeheartedly. GK, as I said before, I see things clearly now about how it is rare and thus the car stands out above all else in the market. Whatever you do, don't let it go for anything less than $170K. It would be a shame such a rarity needs to be discounted. Hold it until 2050 if you have to.

???

This thread has just turned into a bashing session. Its there car, he can sell it for whatever he wants. If you have the cash buy it, if you don't then get something cheaper. The guy came on here trying to make things right so let him sell his car, for whatever price.

since Domani is all about fixing a new image, why not do something really extraordinary and pay paneraiwatches his $1K back...that would be a start of something we can have belief in when you say you're here for the better.

I have not dealt with Domani (yet) but have been speaking to gk for a few weeks about some of the cars they have in stock. While we have yet to strike a deal, they have been very easy to speak to so far. I will update you all on this thread if I end up buying a car with Domani.

I am not in the habit of "supporting" my competition LOL LOL

But this is getting out of hand..

For the LOVE OF ROY...you want this car and you know it...fine

For the LOVE OF SANTA...they want to sell this car and you know it fine...

So, lets do this...make me the "go-between" at no fee and let's put this deal together..

PM or E-mail me a realistic PAY for it now price and I will see what I can get done to put it in your garage...but if you want to buy it wholesale...well you are just going to have to go through all the stuff I and other Dealers have done to get their Dealers license...and then HOPE the car you want comes through the Dealer Auction network...and when it does..then you have to worry about ALL the Dealers outbidding you at the Dealer auction..

So let's ALL get happy here..I will be awaiting your "It's a done deal offer"

Guys, let's give G a break here! The bottom line is you have to pay to play and if Domani is will to sit on a car so be it. At the end of the day G is only a salary employee who is trying his best to rebuild the company's image, keep his job and remain sanity. If you really want that particular Super G than work it out personally with G on the phone. Bashing him or his company will not get the selling price lower but make yourself look foolish. We have suggested in our opinion that the asking prices in general are higher at Domani than others and I think they heard them loud as well as clear. Let's move on unless you have a real issue with Domani. I will give another positive rep for G in handling this situation so professionally.
