Just got PPI back, need help with e-gear results

Hey All,

I just got a PPI back. On the notes, there is info on the e-gear. It says:

Clutch Wear - 1.18 mm
New - 18.84mm
No Overheat

The owner said this meant the clutch is practically new. Does that sound about right?

Thanks in advance.

The 1.18mm means that it has worn 1.18mm out of an allowable 5.6mm. In other words, that clutch is fine.

Other than that, Vincent, how does the car check out? The more I thought about it, the more I would avoid the yellow one that I looked at for you.

Tom, I ended up going with the 04. The PPI came back flawless along with those e-gear notes.

Once again, I want to give you a big thanks for going out of your way to check out that 05. The photos you sent really helped me with my decision. The bumper scrapes just says to me that the guy was careless. Especially since he had the front-lift. Without those under-body pics, I would never seen the damage. The missing insert wasn't brought to my attention by the seller either. If you hadn't given me your detailed review of it, I may have made the mistake of taking it.

I should have the 04 here by next week. I'll shoot you some pics when I do. Thanks again for being such a good guy.

Congrats on your new aquisition. Always nice to hear when a fellow 6speeder goes out of their way to help another one out. Glad things worked out in your favor, vehicle purchases can be stressful at times, especially when it comes to an exotic.
