Excuse - a reason or explanation put forward to defend or justify a fault or offense.

What is the status of your car? You do realize that you really should not sell it (just maybe do the tranny upgrade).
Also, has Jamie been able to secure a worthy opponent?
I got a call the other day from someone who said there was talk on some other forum of him and a Trans Am (I believe....supposedly made 2kHP) having a rendezvous.
I tell people he will actually drive cross country fer a race and they are always incredulous.

I am actually in the process of deciding if I want to send the G to UGR to do billet 1-6. If I do, I'll do an LP560 front bumper, SL carbon side skirts and an SL carbon spoiler and be done with her. As for Jamie, he has been traveling a lot and hasn't even driven the car in weeks. But you know Jamie, he WILL travel across the USA to get a good race.
side - our cars make 1500 whp on kill, that isn't enough to spank a 450 whp Busa (in my opinion)...but the NERA that Kevin owns would make for a race.

Peter, Kevin's Nera is the one that ran a 9 flat, right?
Would the billet gears allow you to run all out and because you don't have them now you have to hold back a bit? Good luck with the upcoming mods if you do them!

Not to fuel the Reason/Excuse argument... But from this race with the supra, i would say the road conditions definitely weren't optimal.

I would say a 450 whp Busa will trap in the mid 180's...right about the same as the NERA owned by Kevin...so don't be so sure, I bet it would be a good race. Like I said earlier, my car wouldn't touch a 450 whp busa with a competent rider but Kevin's car? Hmmmmm
As for the billet gears, they will allow me to run 1500 whp safely without having to fear breaking a tranny...
