How tall are you Gallardo drivers?

As some of you know I'm in the market for a Gallardo right now. I have never driven one or even sat in one yet. I plan on doing that this weekend actually. I'm 6'3 200lbs in good shape. Should my size be an issue?

How tall are you Gallardo drivers and how comfortable are you? Keep in mind I know it's an exotic and not built for ultra comfort.

Thanks!

I can tell you that I did an exotic car driving experience recently (458 Italia. If I could trade the Diablo in for one.... I would!) and there was a guy there who was 6'2". He was not able to fit into the Gallardo with a standard helmet on so he had to go with an Audi R8. I think it would've been a tight squeeze even without the helmet. I'm sure there are plenty of owners in your area who would let you try theirs on for size.

You should fit fine.

If for some reason you don't, another option is to have custom lower brackets made.

Thanks for the replies guys. Went to the dealership the other day and I did fit in both the coupe and spyder. That's a nice relief. The search continues now!

You did fit???
I'm 6-2 and couldn't get in the Gallardo at all. I am 260 lbs but that wasn't the problem. It was just too small. Maybe the previous owner was a little guy and had the car configured for him. But the dealer told me all of them would be too small for me. I don't know about this.....your legs must have been extremely bent.

Yes I fit comfortably enough for me to still be looking for one as a daily driver.

My knees were bent and it was a little snug but certainly nothing unbearable.

I am 6.2 and I don't have any issues. But for sure a helmet would be impossible to fit.

I'm shocked you tall guys fit. I stuck my leg in and realized the rest of me wouldn't make it. Something must have been wrong! Even the Murcielago was too tight. I got in but my legs were so bent my knees looked like a clothes hanger.
I guess you guys wanted to drive the car so bad you don't care about comfort. I couldn't do it.

Like I said it was not uncomfortable so you're statement of "you guys wanted to drive the car so bad you don't care about comfort" is incorrect.

ice350, I agree with you. Dont know how these people say they fit. Have been for the longest time itching to pull the trigger on a gallardo but headroom just isnt there. I'm 6' 3" (but long in the torso) and have to tilt my head. I just dont get how some of these tall guys say they fit comfortable. I guess everyones definition of comfortable is different.

I'm 6'2" 190 and I fit fine in a gallardo. Both convertible and cab. I don't lean back either, seat all the way back and pretty much upright.
