Winkelmann stated that the car will make “a clear cut” from the Gallardo, especially visually. “We always say that design is not an evolution but a revolution, and this will be the philosophy of the follow-up to the Gallardo.” We’d guess that the car will take on more of the menacing angularity of the Aventador flagship, although don’t expect it to adopt its sibling’s carbon-fiber-intensive construction. (Winkelmann: “What we have done for Aventador is not necessarily the right thing to do for a different car.”)

Very curious to see where this Gallardo replacement is priced at.

 

I hope it has the double clutch gearbox.

 

I'm almost positive it will. The R8 replacement is set to have a DCT. I'll be interested to see what Underground can do with an even lighter platform, the same displacement, and dual clutch tranny.

 

Wow, that thing has some crazy angles. Wonder when it will be on order.

 

Love the Sesto, but I hate how Lambo keeps making cars with suuuuuper long front overhangs and almost zero rear overhang. I don't see how you guys don't destroy those awesome front splitters.

 

Front lift. And those front spoiler adds little extension to basically no overhang in the front to begin with.
