How does UR put 1,200 BHP into a car without losing traction?

How does UR put 1,200 BHP into a car without losing traction?

I have read numerous threads from various cars (M5's, M3's, E63's, etc) about making "ludacris" power (usually around 600-700bhp). They usually cite a loss of traction above these numbers as a limiting factor.

So I am curious as to how Underground Racing can get away with putting twice that horsepower into a car? Do they upgrade the traction control? Race slicks? Does the factory tracs system work with that power?

boost by gear.
they have RWD 430s putting out 1000 hp. minimal traction issues.

The same way 1000+ HP GT-Rs and Porsches do it; AWD and sticky tires. Once you start reaching traction limits, you can use boost by gear to mitigate wheelspin as much as possible.

Its a combination of things, some of which we cant talk about. We can put down 1500+ whp in 4th gear. Depending on the road, we can put near that much down in 3rd gear. Street tires, not drag radials.

a lot of the nice stand alone em's have a traction control system built in, obviously someone with knowledge of how to tune this properly will get good results.
