That was absolutely sick, clearly the clutch slip hurt at least a few MPH

Thanks for clearing that up....and by the way, who are you again? The owner of the car? Interesting set up, factory egear with a clutch that is used to launch the car but the paddles are used to shift. Tell us more. Sounds awesome.

Heard UGR has been 8.1 in the 1/4? Excited for that vid...!!! There is no reason for any UGR guy to hate on Jason about what he did with the trans or what it is, just pour class..Its not a dog box like said above and congrats to Heffner on thinking out side the box on making a strong transmission other than the only other option being a car bought threw UGR with a billet piece. There is alot more left in this car and hopefully they will get in some idea conditions, apply some more boost and more two step/wheel speed on the hit. I would imagine we could see some 8.30's out of it....

Also I have never seen so much hate to want to be on top, Is this just a UGR thing or are the GTR and PORSCHE tuners like this too? Crazy none the less. All these tuners are amazing, none of them need a GOD COMPLEX...

Again Congrats to Jason and his crew!! This was the very first time to the track with this car and they did it in just a few passes in one day and drove the car back to the shop. There should be nothing but congrats going on..

I personally would like to know more about the tranny...that thing shifts FAST as a GTR!!!! Amazing! (by the way those are compliments)

Im sure he will release a vid of a 8.65 pass maybe the 8.1 pass?

LOL It does shift fast don't it? Talked to Jason today and I dont think he is in any hurry to give away any specifics on the trans. But from the looks of it they got it figured out. Impressive none the less and Kudos to them!

prob the slowest of the passes that still beats heffner's 8.720. i expect nothing less from UR.

No doubt that thing shifted amazingly but the bottom line is that a factory egear with factory hydraulics and factory control won't shift like that. Should be impressive if UGR posts a quicker pass on the archaic 0.3 second shifting factory egear.

I look at it like this. If it can be driven every day and it works flawlessly, does it matter how its shifted, does the customer care??? Your hunting and trying to insinuate that its got a race only trans in it, are looking to discredit Heffner for this performance because of this? I can read past your bullsh it when you started posting about it above. What is the reason for this? Jason obviously found a way to make the trans shift faster, maybe more Reliable? with more power. Who cares how he did it and I at the end of the day would believe his customer will be very happy with what he has done. That in the end is all that matters

Also if I was buying a lambo. I would be more interested in running possible as many passes as i can with out the transmission breaking. SO my first ? would be what would be the best transmission for what i want todo. How many pass can the (Archaic .03 shifting factory e gear trans make before breaking) would be my deciding factor in a build like this. We all know the billet transmissions are 30grand. I have been told they dont like to be hooked up and shifted from 1st threw 3rd from a dig with full power, this may be hearsay but why are they not leaving like this car does at the track? Can a Oe billet e-gear trans make 50-100 1/4 mile drag strip passes with out breaking?

So maybe Heffners tranny is better suited for this kind of racing like what the car was built for his customer, again the end user is the customer and he/she is the one who needs to be pleased. That is all that is important here...

All i know is this, this is the first big hp build Heffner has built and taken to the track and very first day with it at the track it runs 8.72. There are how many 1250-1500-1700 hp tt. lambos and how many have been that fast? 1 other car? Most of them run mid 9's to 11's at 150-165mph. Jason brought a whole nother level of awesome to this game with this car. I hope someone gets one of these builds from him for the 1/2mile roll stuff.


So THE ? is will the sigs of all the othre ttg cars now read:

Factory hydraulics, factory control shifted transmission, 1500whp tt gallardo/superleggera

Good post. This is what it all comes down to anyway. Heffner has always made great packages that are reliable.

I don't believe UR could have run so fast and not tell everybody. Their whole marketing scheme is more of the show off way than the walk softly and carry a big stick.
