minimizing Gallardo clutch wear

I have just purchased an 08 Gallardo and would like some tips regarding minimizing clutch wear. When stopping (at a stop light) do I put it in neutral? I probably should avoid long, slow uphills. Would appreciate feed back. Thanks.

congrats on the new car. when coming to a full stop, avoid letting the car downshift to 1st gear. also, never feather the throttle going uphill. never back into an incline unless it is necessary as Reverse is never fully engaged. at stops lights, you can either leave the car in neutral or let the car do that for you. i prefer to do it myself to minimize wear on the TO bearing.
