Great writeup and for the tools you had (cherry picker and jack stands) I commend you. I will be doing this job in a year or so and this will be helpful as a reference.

I realize the thread is old but if the original poster sees this I had a question...

Did you have a factory service manual telling you what steps to take, what to remove, etc..? Also, did you end up making a checklist for the next time of things to do and in what order that would be helpful?
