just so we understand....your saying the G is a better ALL AROUND car than the TT? Are you serious? I mean its a sick looking car but you cant compare to porsche engineering...I think most people would agree that the porsche 996TT is a better ALL AROUND than the G.

I agree with you BD997 Porsche TT is way better all the way around but can't beat the looks of the G.

I think you can certainly compare it to Porsche engineering, it is better looking, and much more exciting to drive. The only area the Porsche works better in, is daily useage, as no one pays attention to the Porsche.

I agree... everyday usage on G is no no....so in conclusion the P car is an ALL AROUND better car for everyday and the G is an all around better lookin car obviously than the P. Make your choice and enjoy

996TT outdated...G much better IMO out of the box (for all you modaholics) than TT
Better suspension, tighter steering, etc...
Low-end torque on e-gear blows but if you drop in a set of cat bypasses you're all set

Well... since backing out of my sale, which im pissed I did, nobody has had interest in the car. Oh well, everything happens for a reason. My car is back on auto-trader. Once it sells, Ill be looking for a G again.

Where has the search ended?

I am on travel in Wash DC - drove my 996tt (very moded) up here from FL. Stop by Ferrari of Wash, shoot the sh** with a salesman and end up driving a 2004 G w/ 1900 miles. Now I'm ready to dump the P - only how do I get my luggage in the G to drive home ??? I'm of the same mindset - p car is super reliable - is the G? I want to drive the G everyday but can I ? The G looks are outragious in comparison - p seems tame even though I have a true 550 HP. decisions - decisions I've walked away from a few good looking girls - is the G the same high maintenance ticket ???
