Question seriously looking for a Gallardo

Hey guys, Im on the verge of selling the TT and going to a Gallardo. Is there anyting I should be watching out for as far as buying a used one goes? How is the e-gear? Should I be looking strictly at 6-speeds? Also, where can I get the best deal?

TIA

Sandro

search is correct. First things first, sell the TT. It's harder than I thought...

i heard alot of problems with clutch going on the 6-speed....play it safe and go with e gear especially if you plan on going in to high traffic areas like downtown etc.... IMO

No that is not true. In the beginning in 04, the first few G's had issues with their clutches, both E-gear and 6 speed. This has been fixed by the factory, and most clutches already replaced under warranty.

The E-gear fun wears off fast.. go with the 6 speed. The Gallardo is a fun car.. Although it will never keep up with a modded Turbo

Never say never, on my board, Jason Heffner is doing a TT conversion on an E-gear Gallardo. Looking for over 700rwhp.
