You will be making a wise choice. You will live the car! Plan on lots of attention! Best of luck with the purchase. Keep us posted.

Thanks! I went and looked at a 2004 just cause it was on for such a cheap deal. drove pretty good considering the year, has all the paperwork on it and had a new clutch done not that many km's ago. if i decide to look at it again, any thoughts of what to focus on, other than already listed. has aftermarket exhaust on it, should i be concerned?

next is a 2008, i'm thinking of focusing my search on a manual just because prefer standard but open to the other one as there is many more to choose from

Find out if it had and OEM clutch or a Kevlar clutch installed? Kevlar will last up to 300% longer! Make sure you give it a good look over and test AC. Older models had some issues with compressors. Aftermarket exhaust is absolutely the way to go. Stock is very bland. I have a LOC Rev5 exhaust on mine and couldn't be happier. You will agree, trust me! Check on 15K service, simple do you yourself, but expensive if done at a dealer... If you are interested in an 05 with aftermarket exhaust, 11K miles, Orange, 20 HRE's. A personal friend of mine is selling his. Very well taken care of and maintained. Keep me posted and let me know how it all works out. Best of luck. Where are you located?

I'm a bit north lol .. in Canada

I appreciate the info, i did have the AC on and noticed the drag it caused. I'll make sure i test it fully though don't need that bill first day getting it lol. I'm also heading this week to look at another one that is an 07. want to see the differences and see if i should dig deeper into my pocket.

How much did you pay for your 05 G?

I'm going to the post office to send some Porsche parts to a 6 speed member. I go to banks to deposit cash, I don't think you can take a picture and deposit it online like you do checks.

What is this "cash" you speak of?

(I've been married with kids for a while, now)

Guesss i've been kinda highjacking this thread lol .

so i've narrowed it down to one, it is a 2007 and 6 spd (just really prefer manual) it's all blacked out, the carpet is red while with red stitching and the rest is black. here's my question, i didn't notice if it has a reverse camera where is it located? it does have the factory nav, is the camera optional when having Nav or standard?
