***VIDEO*** from the Houston 1/2 mile event of the Underground Racing Gallardos.
Sorry it took so long to get this video up. Notice the two TT LP 570 quick shift setups.
Enjoy.
(some info from the vid)
On May 11, 2013 at the Houston Half Mile event, Cody and his Street Legal 2011 Underground Racing 1500whp Twin Turbo Lamborghini LP570-4 broke the previous Standing Half Mile World Record by over 5mph. On street tires, Cody accelerated from 0mph to 217.1mph in only a 1/2 mile.
The previous record was held by the Hennessey Ford GT that ran 212 mph. This is the same Hennessey FORD GT also set the record at 267 in the full mile. The most impressive thing about this is that the Underground Racing TT Gallardo is a full wait street car. The Hennessy GT is a purpose built race car.

Not sure why his car didn't get a camera. Too much going on for one video guy. We will being more help next time.

How could you possibly explain the 18 mph difference between the two stage 3's? I mean race gas vs. 93, race heads vs. stock, a couple hundred pounds, extra drag from the soft top, etc. might explain 16 mph but there's no way it could account for 18. What are you guys hiding?
Nice run Joe.
Haha thanks man! I didnt have enough time to run all the pump gas out of the tank before the event!! Will plan better for next time for sure.
I figured it was a creative sales strategy aimed at getting him to upgrade. Then again, it could be another giant conspiracy.
