Help with my Tubi exhaust
Help with my Tubi exhaust
So I have a Tubi exhaust in my car and it turn on the engine light... How can I delete for good? I bought the fabspeed LAMBORGHINI 90 Degree 02 Spacers and my technician told me they won't fit with my Tubi exhaust, he said I need 60 degree spacers....
Any ideas?

But in all seriousness....it is a shame that an exhaust sets off the check engine light....did you think about having your car tuned to have this fixed? More expensive of a fix, but probably could get some more power accounting for the exhaust?
Another option is to take your 90 degree spacers to an exhaust shop, have them cut it and re-weld it at 60 degrees....cheaper solution

I don't have sport cats or Testpipes... It's just the Tubi exhaust and the OEM cat...
I didn't want to tune my car because I didn't have a good experience with my 997TT but I think I don't have many choices...

Leo...the spacers are not going to help you because the Tubi does not replace or effect the cats.
The reason you're experiencing a CEL has nothing to do with emissions. On the earlier Gallardos (before the LP-560's), the ECU uses exhaust pulse to monitor the engine for misfires. If there's a leak in the exhaust, or sometimes in general with high-flow exhaust systems, the computer senses a change in the exhaust pulse and it "thinks" that the engine is misfiring when in reality it's not. We have really only seen this rarely happen with the Tubi, mostly in colder weather.

I'm pretty sure it's not a leak because the exhaust was almost new! How can I fix the muss fire problem?
That's my point...there is no actual problem. The car is NOT misfiring. The ECU just thinks it is because it's seeing a measurable difference in exhaust backpressure...which is confusing the sensors.

Right! The only problem is the engine light is on... How can I turn it off? Should I flash my car?
The few people I know who have had that issue usually just deal with it since the light comes and goes.
